MISSION

 

Our goal is to promote awareness of the creative sustainable economy, with the outcome being a community of people who influence social, environmental, cultural and economic sustainability through the vitality of their projects. 

 

OVERVIEW

 

In an effort to advance the sustainability of social enterprises around the world, we will launch PURENETWORK, a web-based tool that promotes awareness of PUREPROJECTSA PUREPROJECT is the result of creative and inspiring people who are committed to advancing common good in the world.  These social entrepreneurs are engaged in projects with ‘pure’ intentions, projects that will:

 

  • Provide positive environmental, social and economic outcomes; 
  • Raise awareness and consciousness in the world;
  • Discover and create a deeper purpose for itself, which goes beyond maximizing profits or shareholder value;
  • Seek to bring value for all their interdependent stakeholders - customers, suppliers, partners, employees, investors, community (both local and global), and the environment;
  • Do good with dollars;
  • Achieve sustainability; and
  • Be fun.

 

Members within the PURENETWORK will have the opportunity to collaborate and work together on creating sustainable outcomes. The site will list projects by category and provide a detailed profile on each.  Descriptions, videos, photos, financial details, opportunities, needs and contacts would all be made available to the membership community.  The goal being a network that connects people and social enterprises. PURENETWORK will promote projects and needs to people and organizations interested in providing support.

 

Membership would be free to those searching and posting projects. For those looking to post their PUREPROJECT, a certification would be required.  The certification will ensure compliance with the PUREPROJECT standards and will result in a “PUREPROJECTdesignation that can be displayed on literature and products.

 

Wherever appropriate, access to financials and funding requirements would be made available to members of PUREPROJECT’s investment community.  The PUREFUND will serve as a clearing for institutions and individuals interested in making PUREPROJECT investments.  These members will pay an annual fee for access to financial details.

 

As the PURENETWORK grows, it is our intention that it becomes an advocacy for change and transformation in the world!  

 

 

BRANDING             

 

The PURENETWORK will be identified with a brand label that recognizes PUREPROJECTS, PUREPRODUCTS, and PUREMEMBERS. Our goal is to create global awareness and connectivity through brand recognition.  A “Good Housekeeping” stamp of approval that recognizes businesses and individuals who are engaged in transforming the world.    

 

MARKETING             

 

An aggressive viral marketing campaign, including the use of internet widgets and plug-in applications, will accelerate exposure to PURENETWORK.  Widgets will serve as plug-ins to member websites and allow people to mouse over the brand label or logo for a drop down menu that will launch them to designated sites or pages within the website.  The widgets can easily be cut and pasted from site to site so that the exposure to PUREPROJECTS can grow virally.  Those posting the widgets on their site(s) will be identified as PUREMEMBERS.  Application plug-ins will be developed for implementation into other social networks. Strategic partnerships with universities, associations, foundations, and businesses will expand the PUREPROJECT network.  Conferences, seminars, festivals, lectures and competitions are events through which the PURENETWORK will make its presence known in the market.


 

FUNDING             

 

As needed, PURE will seek grants and equity investment from foundations and angels.  Foundations will be encouraged to support the PURENETWORK through program-related investments (PRIs). With foundations being capped at 5% on charitable donations, the PRIs can allow foundations to participate as an investor.  A PRI can also be a loan, loan guarantee, equity purchase, or other investment that will further the foundation’s philanthropic purposes.  As membership increases, service fees will become the primary source of revenue. Additional revenue will be generated from PUREFUND membership, conferences/events, and on-line transactions.
