PURE is committed to supporting a world of PUREPROJECTS, which are projects that uses creativity and innovation to promote sustainable solutions that advance a common good in the world. PUREPROJECTS are companies, foundations, events, art installations, and beyond that have a 'pure' intention at their core and are wrapped w/ a fully sustainable model, which includes environmental, social, cultural, and economic sustainability. PURELABS works w/ organizations of all types to integrate the core principals embodied by a PUREPROJECT (see www.pureproject.org for list of principals).

PURELABS is a hybrid platform, sometimes operating as a creative agency, consultancy, and/or incubator, with a mission of supporting the ideation, incubation, activation, and illumination of PUREPROJECTS around the globe.  The goal of this hybrid structure is to create a system that supports emerging projects as they move towards total sustainability, while simultaneously supporting our more established clients as they strive to bring their CSR initiatives into the DNA of their organizations.  Here, we develop strategies that go beyond traditional CSR campaigns that often times look like band-aids. Our strategies are intended to alter the DNA of an organization so that they to can be identified with the values of being a PUREPROJECT. Often times this involves co-creating PUREPROJECTS that merge the objectives of emerging creative or social innovation projects with our more established clients' campaigns in ways that further each's goals.  This also allows PURELABS to create a win-win financial model that allows us to support these emerging projects while executing on the mandate of our more established clients. 

PURELABS establishes partnerships with the likes of Ashoka, TED, POPTECH, Echoing Green, Ideablob.com, Skoll Foundation, Endeavor, Social Actions, NYU Reynolds and beyond to develop a pipeline of social entrepreneurs, creatives, and clients looking to bring forth PUREPROJECTS into the world.  We leverage these partnerships to attract support for our philanthropic initiatives from foundations, social & patient capital funds, and government grants.  We also leverage fees from our paying clients to further support our charitable work.  As such, PURELABS operates two distinct yet mutually-supported organizations that have a shared mission of supporting a world of PUREPROJECTS.  The non-profit arm will house all of our charitable programs supporting emerging social entrepreneurs, while the for-profit arm will support our paying clients.  A portion of the funds from the for-profit activities will be transferred to the non-profit as charitable contributions.  As the for-profit revenues and contributions to the non-profit activities grow, the goal will be to phase out receipt of charitable contributions as we move towards a truly sustainable social venture.  Our intention is to set up an in-house financing structure, PUREFUND, to further support incubation of PUREPROJECTS.

PURELABS has three primary modes of financial sustainability: consulting/advisory services, relationship management (job placement & referral/finders/brokerage fees), and incubation services (equity/rev. share).  In addition, our clients and community will also have access to our membership community, classified listing system, employment database, and e-commerce platform for the sale of their goods & services, generating additional financial resources to support PURELABS.
