Envirolution

THE MISSION:
To facilitate and accelerate the transition to a truly Green and Just Economy.

WHO WE ARE
Envirolution is an action oriented, solutions focused, partnership driven 501(c)(3) organization that
brings green economy principles, practices, and tools to local education, business services, economic
development and workforce training programs. Our innovative programs combine green job training and career
exploration with valuable efficiency consulting for the business, building, or school involved.

HOW:
Envirolution strategically and responsibly helps drive the demand and supply of green services, products and
workers through the development of innovative green service learning education, career development and
business consulting strategies. With core competencies in energy efficiency, service learning, green job training
and placement, Envirolution produces positive, measurable, impacts for underserved students, job seekers,
businesses, building owners, organizations and communities. Envirolution works to empower the next
generation of sustainability leaders.

WHAT WE DO:
Utilizing a creative operating strategy, Envirolution embarks on a logical and methodical process to create
sustainable, dynamic programs that are modeled for scalability. Our goal is to always find the issues in the green
economy transition and design and model programs that address the need for more experienced workers, while
simultaneously helping to ensure implementation of green technologies and conservation of resources. We then
seek creative partnerships and strategies to implement our programs in other communities.

Playing a catalyst role, Envirolution offers several programs and services focusing on education, career
development and business consulting, with core competencies in energy efficiency and green job training. Our
programs are innovative in that they combine green job training with valuable efficiency consulting for the
business, building, or school involved. Our current programs include:

Green Jobs Resource Center: In Northern Nevada, the Center will give the community and students, at
all levels of education, a starting point for learning about our green economy and obtaining green jobs.
The Win-Win Campaign: Neighborhood focused, green economic development, service learning, energy
and carbon efficiency program.
Project ReCharge: Educates high school/middle school students about energy efficiency and building
science while empowering them to take actions that reduce their school's environmental impact and
saves the school money on energy costs.
Clean Energy Corps: Trains a group of AmeriCorps volunteers as a local green collar workforce that will
provide assessment and implementation services for resource conservation measures (energy, water
and solid waste) to residents, small businesses and/or municipal facilities.
The Win-Win Collaborative: Clean energy retrofit ramp-up initiative that seeks to dramatically improve
and streamline the implementation of clean energy services while simultaneously helping train and
place skilled workers to deliver these services.
